I truly cannot say enough good things about Dr. Alicia Johnson and the team at Apollo Beach Modern Dentistry! I have an EXTREME fear of the dentist. And I don’t mean I get a little nervous before an appointment. I mean genuine, overwhelming anxiety. So finding a dentist who understands that and doesn’t make me feel ridiculous for it has been a really big deal for me. Dr. Johnson is just one of those people who makes you feel like family. She is incredibly patient, kind, and goes above and beyond to make sure you’re comfortable. She listens to every concern (and trust me, I have plenty!), takes the time to explain what she’s doing and why, and never once makes me feel embarrassed or silly for being afraid. What I appreciate most is that she genuinely makes me feel heard. She doesn’t dismiss my fears or rush me through them. She just meets me where I am, every single time, with so much patience and compassion. I can honestly say this has probably been the best dental experience I’ve had in my entire life. And coming from someone who would rather do just about ANYTHING than sit in a dentist’s chair, that’s saying something! I’m just incredibly grateful to have found her and a team that truly cares. ❤️
